Carol Stepe has real estate experience beginning in 1959 in New Jersey and in the New York metropolitan area. The commercial market suited her best because of her family life.
Among her larger clients were the Exxon Corporation and Quick Chek Stores (similar to 7-11). Her forte was in finding locations for their businesses. She became involved in the farm and ranch market as it was often the primary source of properties purchased by her commercial clients.
Carol had been coming to Telluride for skiing vacations, and fell in love with southwest Colorado. After relocating on her ranch in Dolores, Colorado she became the managing Broker for River Mountain Properties and ran that business until semi-retirement in January, 2011.
